Amtrak is celebrating Mother’s Day with special Buy One, Bring One 50 percent off fares this May.
The Mother’s Day Flash Sale is now available for purchase through Wednesday, May 17, for travel on most Amtrak routes across the country between June 1 and August 30, 2023. There are no blackout dates.
Sample one-way fares for two customers include Portland, Maine to Boston for $36 compared to the standard lowest price of $48 and Detroit to Chicago for $60, down from the standard lowest price of $80.
This sale is valid for Coach and Acela Business Class fares. Travelers can visit Amtrak.com/MothersDay to take advantage or enter code C514 when booking on the Amtrak app.
Additionally, Amtrak, which boasts a national network of more than 500 destinations in 46 states, has improved its children’s discount so all children ages 2-12 years old can travel for 50 percent off with an accompanying adult.
