Scenic Offering New Antarctica Voyages for 2023-24

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours is now offering an expansion of its in-depth Antarctica expedition cruises for 2023 and 2024 following popular demand.

Travelers can enjoy saving up to 20 percent on these itineraries when they book between October 1 and December 15, 2022 with the line’s Earlybird and Pay in Full promotional programs.

The line is currently offering five different Antarctica itineraries. The 13-day Antarctica in Depth voyage begins round-trip from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Guests are flowing to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, where they’ll board the Scenic Eclipse and sail through the Beagle Channel, the Lemaire Channel, and enjoy six full days in the Antarctic Peninsula. The first departure begins November 21, 2023. The itinerary is also available for Festive Holiday Collection sailings for Christmas or New Year’s.

A longer trip, the 22-day Antarctica & Chilean Fjords itinerary begins in Buenos Aires, visiting Antarctica before coming around Cape Horn to explore the Chilean Fjords, where guests can hike across glaciers and enjoy scenic landscapes as they spend four days sailing through the fjords. They’ll end in Puerto Montt, from where they’ll fly to Valparaiso. This itinerary departs February 21, 2024.

A 19-day itinerary beginning in Montevideo, Argentina and ending in Buenos Aires is the Antarctica, South Georgia and Falkland Islands expedition. Travelers can enjoy an in-depth Antarctic wildlife extravaganza with this itinerary, where they’ll encounter eighteen species of penguins, albatross, fur, leopard and elephant seals, orcas and more as they explore the Falklands and South Georgia. This itinerary departs November 4, 2023.

Expeditionists looking for something a bit more intense with opportunities to see the world’s largest penguin species should consider the 15- and 16-day Antarctica & the Weddell Sea itinerary. Guests can enjoy visiting the South Shetland Islands, Elephant Island and an optional helicopter excursion to see the Emperor Penguins. This itinerary sails December 5 and December 13, 2023.

The last Antarctica itinerary takes guests across the Antarctic Circle aboard the Scenic Eclipse II. The 15- and 16-day Beyond the Antarctic Circle Voyage begins and ends in Buenos Aires, Argentina, sailing through the Drake Passage through the Antarctic Peninsula to pass through the Antarctic Circle. This itinerary offers three departure dates beginning January 8, 2024.
